Privacy

What the early-list form collects

• Your name and email address.
• Anything you choose to tell us about your book, the kind of content you have most of, and a link to your channel or content.
• Whether you ticked the box to get updates and the occasional marketing note from Adam.

That's it. This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no ad trackers. Like any website, the server keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and stop spam.

Where it goes

Your sign-up goes into GoHighLevel, the email and contact system Adam uses to send AyerBaked Book emails. It's used to reach you about the early list and, if you ticked the updates box, to send you updates and the occasional marketing note. If you leave the box unticked, you only hear from us about your early-list spot.

The page fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google sees a normal request from your browser when the page opens.

What we never do

We never sell your details or rent them out. We don't share them with anyone except the services that run this site and send our emails.

Getting off the list, or deleted

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. To have your details removed entirely, or to ask what we hold about you, email adam@ayerborne.com and say so. We'll take care of it.

Your book files

If you become an author with us, your files, drafts and notes live in the private author portal at books.ayerbakedbook.com. Only you, and anyone you invite to your book, can see them. Nothing there is public.

If you connect YouTube to the author portal

Authors can connect their YouTube channel in the private author portal so their own videos can become their book. The portal uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

What we read. Your channel name, the list of your videos (title, length and whether it has captions), and the captions of the videos you pick. Google calls the permission we ask for "manage your YouTube account" because that is the permission YouTube requires for an app to download captions. We use it only to read. We never upload, post, edit, delete, comment or change anything on your channel.

What we do with it. Caption text becomes source material for your book: the drafts, the "where this line came from" tags that point to the moment you said it, and the notes in your portal. To write the drafts, caption text is sent to the AI service that writes for the Book Baker (Anthropic). Apart from that, we don't share it with anyone. We don't use it for ads and we don't sell it.

Where it's kept. On our own server (DigitalOcean, New York), inside your private book. Only you, anyone you invite to your book, and the AyerBaked team can see it. The portal uses one sign-in cookie to keep you logged in.

Turning it off. Press "Disconnect YouTube" on the Ingredients page, or remove AyerBaked Book at Google security settings. When you disconnect, we revoke our access and stop reading your channel. Captions already read stay in your book until you take them out or ask us to delete them. To delete everything we hold from your YouTube account, email adam@ayerborne.com; it's deleted within 30 days and we confirm by email.

AyerBaked Book's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you share a Google Drive or Dropbox folder

You paste a share link and we read the files in that folder (no sign-in to your account). We transcribe audio and video and pull text from PDFs and images on our own server. Your files stay in your folder; we keep the text we pulled as source material for your book, the same way as captions above.

Using this site

You're welcome to read this site and join the early list. Please don't misuse it: no spam, no automated sign-ups, no attempts to break into the site or the author portal.

The early list

Joining the early list is free and doesn't commit you to anything. It's not an order, a booking or a promise of a spot. When spots open, the scope, price and timeline for your book are agreed with you directly before any work starts.

What's ours, what's yours

The words, design and images on this site belong to AyerBaked Book and the authors whose books are shown. Please don't copy them without asking. Anything you send us in the form stays yours.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep this site accurate and running, but it's provided as it is. We can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and nothing on it is a promise of sales, rankings or income from a book.

Changes

We may update this page now and then. The date at the top shows the latest version.
